Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the AI Playground application (the "Service") operated by CodeLabGH ("we", "us", or "our"). Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.

1. General Use

AI Playground is provided as a free, locally-running desktop application designed to facilitate interaction with various third-party AI models and providers. By downloading and using the app, you agree to do so in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Third-Party Services & API Keys

The Service allows you to connect to third-party endpoints using your own API keys. You understand and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for acquiring, managing, and securing your API keys from these third-party providers.
  • You are bound by the respective Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policies, and billing structures of the third-party providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) you choose to use.
  • We are not responsible for any charges, overuse, suspension, or termination of your third-party API accounts resulting from the use of our Service.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

4. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

The layout, design, website, and non-open-source components of the AI Playground brand are the intellectual property of CodeLabGH. The underlying application may incorporate or rely upon open-source software, which remains under its respective licenses.

6. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
